HUB AND SWITCH

                                            Hub and switch mainly used for the connecting the two or more devices the main thing we are in the networking is to connect the computers with the  cables . With out the network interface card we cannot connect any thing the main important thing is the nic card.first we are going to see about the hub the hub is used to connect the lan and switch is used to connect one wan. The hub is have a only a few no of ports but switch will have more than the hubs port.IN the switch mode there are the main mode user mode, privileged-mode prompt and global configuration mode. first we want to configure the interface into the swtich weather it is serial or fast ethernet . Then select the one of the serial or fast ethernet. Then want to set the hostname of the switch because hostname is important when we are using the remote session we dont no exactly that weather which switch we are using in the current position so that we are using host name .So that these are the main thing that we used in the hub and switch.
